(More customer reviews)We've had 2 of these shower heads installed for a few months now. I did buy this to reduce water consumption. Our water bills here outside of Atlanta run about $10 or more per 10k gallons. There was a drought for several years here and this area relies on surface water and lakes were going dry. Anyway, its hard to tell if it has reduced our consumption by 20% or so because our usage fluctuates up to 3,000 or 4,000 gallons per month. But what I can tell you is that it turns the average shower stream into a much higher flow rate. Its because there is a lot of air mixed in. It feels great when it hits your skin. Its not high enough velocity to sting, but its probably pretty close. It appears to be well built, I like the quality. We use the single stream, the 3 stream option is weaker but does give an almost wall to wall spread in our shower stall. It was pretty simple to install. It probably is reducing the water bill because of the air it mixes with the stream. There is so much air in fact that I now take my showers now the water temperature all the way on hot because of all the cool air mixing with the water. On your skin, the water temp feels the same as the setting I used before. But, you can feel how hot the water really is when you shampoo your hair, probably because of the way it accumulates in your hair, no longer surrounded by all the air. Anyway, I recommend because it gives such an invigorating feel to my showers now and its well built.I took a star off because its not obvious that there is a significant drop in water usage or reduction in the gas heating bill because now we use hotter water in our showers to compensate for the air flow.
