I wasn't even shopping for a showerhead that day, but just happened to see the isle display in Wal-Mart, and it reminded me that the one we've had for a while had gotten progressively worse.The design of the old shower head had little rubber plugs that the water flowed through, and those little rubber bits break off when you're giving it a good disinfectant cleaning.The plugs affect the flow and direction of the water, so it's an erratic splatter once the plugs have broken away.

Unhappy with that effect, I examined all the display from expensive to cheap shower heads.There were only a few designs, and I was taken aback at how many had that eventual problematic rubber plug design.With very few choices in the mid range, I opted for the simplest Waterpik model with 4 settings and a 5 foot hose.If you're looking for a pounding water massage on your shoulders, then this might not be the one for you.But if you prefer the rain shower effect, and need one quick, then this one is worth a try! Good job Waterpik!
